Walt Disney Studios Creative Services

Role:
Copywriter, Creative & Research Strategist
For:
Walt Disney Studios
My work with Disney spanned more than a decade and included campaigns for dozens of blockbuster movies which earned billions at the box office and a place in the hearts of millions of moviegoers.
I was a member of a world-class team of consumer researchers, brand strategists, writers, artists, and filmmakers supporting releases from Walt Disney Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and DreamWorks including Pirates of the Caribbean, The Avengers, The Incredibles, Lincoln, Brave, Toy Story 3, Tangled, The Muppets, National Treasure, Wreck-It Ralph, Secretariat, and The Prestige.

This is a snapshot of a few favorite print projects from my collaboration with the Disney Creative Services team and partner creative agencies.
Working on a Pixar movie is by default a favorite project, and John Carter was an opportunity to write copy for a film directed by Oscar winner Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, WALL-E) and based on the novels that inspired George Lucas to create Star Wars—the first movie I ever watched.
I collaborated with the Disney Creative Film Services team and Herzog & Company on the trailer for John Carter, the adaptation of the science fiction fantasy classic starring Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights), Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man), and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad).
I partnered again with the Disney Creative Film Services team and Herzog & Company on the trailer for Mars Needs Moms, the out-of-this-word adventure from Oscar-winning producer Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump) starring Seth Green (Family Guy), Joan Cusack (Grosse Point Blank), and Tom Everett Scott (That Thing You Do).
